April, 2014 [Merger notifications or concerted action applications] 

1. Easycard Investment Holding Co., Ltd., Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd, FamilyMart Co., Ltd., Itochu Taiwan Corporation, Itochu Corporation, Senao International Co., Ltd., MiTAC Information Technology Corporation and Fubon Financial Holding Venture Co., Ltd. filed a merger notification regarding their joint investment in and management of the bonus point business of D. D. Powers Corporation. Acting according to Article 12 (2) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC approved the merger with conditions attached.
2. Taiwan Shipbuilding Corporation and Taiwan Generations Corporation filed a merger notification with the FTC regarding their intention to jointly set up a new business. Acting according to Article 12 (1) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC did not prohibit the merger.
