- The FTC amended the “Regulations for Multi-level Marketing Businesses Regarding Establishment of Personal Information File Security Measures and Handling of Personal Information after Participation Contract Termination”.
- The FTC established the “Enforcement Rules of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act”.
- The FTC amended Article 29 of the Enforcement Rules to the Fair Trade Act.
- The FTC abolished the Supervisory Regulations Governing Multilevel Sales.
