  1. Yan Yu (transliteration) International Co., Ltd. listed names of other enterprises in an advertisement for its “Cun Yu Fu Yu (transliteration) No. 6 Scandinavian Impression (translation)” housing project. The conduct was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to quality of product in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  2. UNI Air advertised on its website that the company offered “the best price for offshore island residents buying tickets online.” The wording was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to price of service in violation of Article 21 (3) in applying mutatis mutandis Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$500,000 on the company.
  3. In its advertisement for the “Lin Yu Tang (transliteration) 11” housing project, Ever Sun Building Co., Ltd. marked the parking space of the 1F and balconies of 2F, 3F and 4F units as the space for bedrooms. It was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to use and content of product in violation of Paragraph 1 of Article 21 of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  4. MJ Life Enterprises Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 16 (2) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act for recruiting people with limited capacity for civil conduct without acquiring the written consent of their legal representatives in advance and attaching the said consent to the participant contract. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  5. In an advertisement for its “Discovery Journey (translation)” housing project, Run Wang (transliteration) Construction Co., Ltd. marked the machine room as part of the living room in the floor plan. It was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to content of product in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$300,000 on the company.
  6. In an advertisement for its“Li Chi Xiang Xie (transliteration)” housing project, Bao De (transliteration) Construction Co., Ltd. marked the open space as the basketball court and play area. It was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to use and content of product in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$500,000 on the company.
