1. Zhong Yi (transliteration) Shipping Co., Ltd., Fei Ma (transliteration) Shipping Co., Ltd., Dong Xin (transliteration) Shipping Co., Ltd., Jing Qiang (transliteration) Shipping Co., Ltd. and Guan Guang (transliteration) Shipping Co., Ltd. applied for permission to extend their joint scheduling, ticket sales and joint ticket issuance operations. Acting according to Subparagraph 1 of the proviso in Article 15 (1) of the Fair Trade Act and Article 16 (1) of the same act, the FTC permitted a five-year extension with conditions attached.
2. China Steel Corporation filed a merger notification regarding its intention to merge with Taiwan Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. Acting according to Article 13 (1) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC did not prohibit the merger.
