July, 2015 [ Merger notifications or concerted action applications]

1. Asia Pacific Telecom filed a merger notification regarding its intention to merge with Ambit Corporation. Acting according to Article 13 (1) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC did not prohibit the merger.
2. ASE Group filed a merger notification regarding its intention to set up a joint venture with TDK Corporation of Japan. Acting according to Article 13 (1) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC did not prohibit the merger.
3. Chinese Petroleum Corporation Taiwan filed a merger notification regarding its intention to set up a joint venture Ye Yang (transliteration) Co., Ltd. with KH Neochem Co., Ltd. of Japan. Acting according to Article 13 (1) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC did not prohibit the merger.
