  1. When marketing the “Hai Ji Shi (transliteration)” housing project, Shuo Cheng (transliteration) Construction Co., Ltd adopted language and images for residential homes in an advertisement for units to be used for offices. The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to content and use of product affecting transaction decision that violated Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. In addition to ordering the company to immediately cease the unlawful act, the FTC also imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$1 million.
  2. On the floor plans for Block A and Block B units of the “Bi Yao Jin Zuan (transliteration)” housing project, Yong Qi (transliteration) Enterprise Co., Ltd. marked the machine rooms as part of the interior space. The conduct was a false and misleading representation with regard to content and use of product affecting transaction decision that violated Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$600,000 on the company.
  3. On the floor plans for the “Jin Xi Yu Pin (transliteration)” housing project, Chang Qun Construction Co., Ltd marked part of the balconies as part of the bathroom space. The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to content and use of product affecting transaction decision that violated Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$1 million on the company.
  4. On the floor plans for the “Yue Xin (transliteration) Seattle” housing project, Yue Xin (transliteration) Construction Co., Ltd. and Kai Mai (transliteration) Advertising Co., Ltd. used dotted lines to mark the balcony areas as part of the interior space. The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to content and use of product affecting transaction decision that violated Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. In addition to ordering the two companies to immediately cease the unlawful act, the FTC also imposed administrative fines of NT$400,000 and 200,000 on them respectively.
  5. WorldVentures Taiwan, a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its sales system, participant requirements, participant contract contents, marketed products and services without filing with the FTC in advance. In addition to ordering the company to file the said changes with the FTC within ten days after receiving the disposition, the FTC also imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$1 million.
  6. In an advertisement for the “New Generation (translation)” presale home housing project, Ya Shin (transliteration) International Development Co., Ltd. indicated that there would be a lounge bar, a gym and other communal facilities. The conduct was a false and misleading representation with regard to content and use of product affecting transaction decision that violated Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$2 million on the company.
  7. Huan Yu New Century Co., Ltd, a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 38 (3) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to pay the annual fee for 2016 and the deficiency of protection fund to the Multi-level Marketing Protection Foundation. In addition to ordering the company to pay the said annual fee and deficiency within 14 days after receiving the disposition, the FTC also imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$100,000.
  8. Infinitus Taiwan, a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its sale system without filing with the FTC in advance. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  9. On the floor plans for the 2F, 3F and 4F units of the “Zhan Qian Xing Guan (transliteration)” housing project, Zhu Cheng Construction Co., Ltd. and Easter Sun (translation) Real Estate Advertising Co. marked the balconies as part of the interior space. The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to content and use of product affecting transaction decision that violated Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed administrative fines of NT$400,000 and 100,000 on the two companies respectively.
