1. Citing Subparagraph 5 of the proviso set forth in Article 15 (1) as well as Article 16(2) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC approved the application from TTET Union Corporation, Tai Hwa Oil Industrial Co., Ltd., Dacheng Great Wall Group, May Lan Lei Co., Ltd. and Chang Hui (transliteration) Enterprise Co., Ltd. for permission to extend the joint shipment of imported soybeans for five years until Mar. 12, 2022.
2. Chang Wah Electromaterials Inc, Chang Wah Technology Co., Ltd., Singapore-based SH Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and SH Electronics Taiwan Co., Ltd. filed a merger notification regarding their intention to merge. Pursuant to Article 13 (1) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC did not prohibit the merger.
