  1. CCT Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Articles 20 (2) and 21 (2) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to process within the statutory period products returned by participants upon contract cancellation or termination. In addition to ordering the company to cease the unlawful act, the FTC imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$1 million.  
  2. Melilea International Taiwan, a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its office location and sales system without filing with the FTC in advance. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$150,000 on the company. 
  3. Eastern Home Shopping & Leisure Co., Ltd. and Hosheng Technology Co., Ltd. posted the claim "doubled battery life…able to reduce gasoline consumption by 10% to 20%...lasting at least 4 years with a lithium-iron battery plugged in…lasting less than 2 years without a lithium-iron battery plugged in" when marketing auto rescue backup power supply products on ETMall. The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product affecting transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on each company. 
  4. Philo Digital Co., Ltd. marketed auto rescue backup power supply products on its company website and posted the claim "doubled battery life…able to reduce gasoline consumption by 10% to 20%...lasting at least 4 years with a lithium-iron battery plugged in…lasting less than 2 years without a lithium-iron battery plugged in." The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product affecting transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  5. Zhonglian (transliteration) International Enterprise Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated (1) Article 6 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by starting operation without registering with the FTC in advance and (2) Article 7 (1) of the same act for changing its sales system and product items without filing with the FTC beforehand. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$150,000 on the company.
  6. Infinitus International Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its sales system without filing with the FTC in advance. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
