  1. Taiwan Mobile Co., Ltd. acquired 85% of the shares of Bebe Poshe International Co., Ltd. through Dafu (transliteration) Multimedia Technology Co., Ltd. and Fubon Multimedia Technology Co., Ltd. but did not file the merger with the FTC as required by law. The conduct was in violation of Article 11 (1) of the Fair Trade Act; therefore, the FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$500,000 on the company.
  2.  When marketing the Topax TH-7245FE water heater on PChome Online Mall, PChome Online Inc. and Taiyun (transliteration) Enterprise Co., Ltd. claimed the product had been certified and awarded the Energy Label. The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on each company.
  3.  Shone Goal International Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its sales system without filing with the FTC in advance. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  4. Lawake Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 17 (2) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to keep in its main office a copy of a CPA-certified financial statement for the previous year. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  5. In an advertisement posted on its company website for an LED atrium light, TAITEK LED Co., Ltd. claimed the product had been awarded the Energy Label by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and also displayed an image of the Energy Label. The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  6. Icure Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 16 (2) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by recruiting people with limited capacity for civil conduct to be participants without obtaining the written consent of their legal representatives and attaching the consent to the participation contract. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  7. Lifestyles International Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its office location without filing with the FTC in advance. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  8. Amazing Life International Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its product items without filing with the FTC in advance. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  9. Wide Doctor (International) Enterprise Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its sales system without filing with the FTC in advance. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$150,000 on the company.
  10. Sinyi Real Estate Co., Ltd. posted an advertisement for the Xin An (transliteration) Public Housing Complex. The wording used was a misleading representation with regard to content of service and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Paragraph 4 of Article 21 of the Fair Trade Act and Paragraph 1 of the same article was applicable mutatis mutandis. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
