  1. When marketing the Honeywell HPA-200APTW air cleaner on the Yahoo! Kimo Shopping Mall, Jiamei (transliteration) Best Go Co., Ltd. posted the wording "Awarded both the European Energy Star and Taiwan Energy Label." It was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product and was also able to affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  2. When marketing the "PP Persephone easy-to-use graphene slimming pants on the Yunjihui website, Hong Jui Co., Ltd. posted in the advertisement the claim "Just wear them to become slim! The graphene slimming pants help you exercise anytime, anywhere;" "Wearing them will have the effect of exercising; there is no need to go on a diet and the slimming effect will be so obvious," and "Wear the graphene slimming pants and they will create a passive circulation effect like jogging continuously...You can feel the waist, hips and legs becoming slim in one week...Just wearing them and walking around will achieve the effect of burning fat." The wording was a misleading representation with regard to quality of product and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$300,000 on the company.
  3. Wide Vibration Training Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its product items without filing with the FTC in advance, The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  4. Maison Berger Paris, a multi-level marketing business, recruited people with limited capacity for civil conduct as participants without acquiring the consent of their legal representatives in advance and attaching it to the participation contract. The practice was in violation of Article 6 (2) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
