1. Chuan Lian Enterprise Co., Ltd. intended to acquire 95.97% of the shares of RT Mart International Ltd. and filed a merger notification with the FTC. Citing Article 13 (2) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC approved the merger with undertakings attached.
2. Japanese company HOYA Corporation filed a merger notification regarding its intended merger with Chinese company Beijing Boe Vision Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Citing Article 13 (1) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC did not prohibit the merger.
