  1. When marketing the "Bo Ai Yue" presale home units in Kaohsiung City, Highwealth Corporation and Ju Feng Hotel Management Consultant Co., Ltd. did not provide prospective homebuyers with the site map, list of land ownership share for each unit, and presale home purchase agreement. The practice was obviously unfair conduct able to affect trading order. It was in violation of Article 25 of the Fair Trade Act. Therefore, the FTC imposed administrative fines of NT$1.2 million and NT$400,000 on the two companies, respectively.
  2. Playma Co., Ltd. used the dining notes on the food website of its competitor ifoodie on its ihungrybear website and as the content of its app. The practice was obviously unfair conduct able to affect trading order. It was in violation of Article 25 of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  3. Taiwan Riway Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 15 of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to enforce its regulations against contract breaches and stop its participants from engaging in contract-breaching conduct. In addition to ordering the company to correct the unlawful act or take necessary corrective measures and report the handling process and results to the FTC within 14 days after receiving the disposition, the FTC also imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$600,000.
  4. Acme Cultural Enterprise Co., Ltd. printed the phrases "Chosen to be the 32nd reading selection for elementary and high school students" and "Chosen to be the 34th reading selection for elementary and high school students" respectively on the covers of the Comprehensive Dictionary of Chinese Idioms and the Dictionary of Chinese Idioms with Complete Explanations published and marketed by the company. The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product and could also affect transaction decisions. It was in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  5. Greenleaf International (Taiwan) Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated 1) Article 19 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by giving participants the authority to promote more than two multi-level organizations, 2) Article 23 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by adopting inappropriate measures to impede participants from returning goods according to the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act, and 3) Article 25 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to keep its marketing management documents in the main office. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$300,000 on the company.
  6. GrandTek Instruments Co., Ltd. used the name of its competitor UAE Technology Co., Ltd. to make a keyword advertisement. The practice was obviously unfair conduct that exploited the achievements of the efforts of another and was able to affect trading order. It was in violation of Article 25 of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  7. Fujiakang International Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated 1) Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by not filing with the FTC before changing its office location and 2) Article 14 of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to include in the participation contract statutorily required information with regard to the sales system, related multi-level marketing regulations, causes to be considered contract breaches by participants and handling measures, causes to be considered contract breaches specified in Article 15 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act or other causes attributable to participants, and the ways to handle goods returned by participants. In addition to ordering the company to immediately cease the 2) unlawful act as well as sign with participants contracts that carried the statutorily required information and present a copy to the FTC for reference, the FTC also imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$100,000.
  8. Stemey (Taiwan) Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to file with the FTC its change of company name within the statutory period. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
