  1. Three domestic ice-making businesses, namely, Jinhai (transliteration) Enterprise Co., Fengde (transliteration) Freezing Co., Ltd. and Northwest (translation) Ice-making Co., Ltd., jointly increased the price of ice for the fishing industry in July 2022. The practice was in violation of the regulation against concerted actions set forth in Article 15 (1) of the Fair Trade Act because it was able to affect the supply-demand function of the fishery market in Penghu. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of $100,000 on each company.
  2. Yuan True Health Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated 1) Article 20 (2) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to process participant withdrawal and returned goods within the statutory period, and 2) Article 21 (2) of the same act for not handling participant withdrawal and returned goods in accordance with statutory calculation formulas within the statutory period. In addition to ordering the company to immediately cease the two unlawful acts, the FTC also imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$200,000.
  3. Wide Vibration Training Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its sales system without filing with the FTC in advance. In addition to ordering the company to file its change of sales system within ten days after receiving the disposition, the FTC also imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$100,000.
  4. Arkway Global Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 26 of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to provide information regarding its management development condition in accordance with the method and content specified by the FTC. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  5. Newage Worldwide, Inc. Taiwan Branch (USA), a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its sales system and product items without filing with the FTC in advance. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
