- When marketing the "Wan Bao Ju He (transliteration)" housing project, Wanbaoju (transliteration) Construction Co., Ltd. marked the landing, elevator and water tower areas on the rooftop level as part of the interior space on the A2 5F layout posted on 591.com, a real estate transactions website. The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to content and use of product and could also affect transaction decisions. It was in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$200,000 on the company.
- Shin Jie Combined Service Co., Ltd. uploaded on YouTube an advertisement in which the advantages and disadvantages of electrical polyester strapping packing machines commonly seen in Taiwan were compared. The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to products of the company and others and could also affect transaction decisions. It was in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
- An individual surnamed Chen, the person in charge of Xinjinfeng (transliteration) Fabric Store, marketed curtains on Facebook and claimed there would be a government subsidy of NT$5,000~8,000 for each purchase as a result of the energy saving and carbon reduction policy and that Baidou Lailai (transliteration) was able to acquire the funding because the store had been in business for over 70 years. The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product and could also affect transaction decisions. It was in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$80,000 on Chen.
- When marketing the N7 series air purifiers, The First Futurelab Center Co., Ltd. posted the wording "sterilization method patent passing national certification" on the web page for the products. The claim was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product and could also affect transaction decisions. It was in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC ordered the company to immediately cease the unlawful act and also imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$150,000.
- DS Accessories Co., Ltd. marketed Hiland PSESONE power-assisted bicycles on ruten.com and posted the text "Made in Taiwan – Lightning Label – legal to be on the road – 100KM" and also displayed a conformity mark to show the power-assisted bicycles had been certified. The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product and could also affect transaction decisions. It was in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
- Qijing Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated 1) Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its office location without filing with the FTC in advance, 2) Article 17 (1) of the same act for failing to keep the balance sheet and income statement for the previous year in its main office, and 3) Article 25 (1) of the same act by not keeping multi-level marketing management documents in the main office. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$250,000 on the company.
- An individual surnamed Jian, a multi-level marketing operator, violated Article 6 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by failing to file with the FTC before starting operation. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$120,000 on Jian.
