  1. Senzhu (transliteration) Development Co., Ltd., Yifu (transliteration) Development Co., Ltd. and Isanlin Construction and Development Co., Ltd. posted an online advertisement claiming there would be public facilities including a "family-style KTV," "see-through reception hall 70 meters above ground level," "private collection hall 70 meters above ground level," "hotel-level lounge bar" and "glass-house Corner banquet hall," etc. when marketing the "Shang He Yuan (transliteration)" housing project. The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to content and use of product and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed administrative fines of NT$1 million, NT$600,000 and NT$500,000 on the three companies, respectively.
  2. Hao Jie Tang (transliteration) International Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 6 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by starting operation without filing with the FTC in advance. In addition to ordering the company to immediately cease the unlawful act before filing with the FTC, the FTC imposed on it an administrative fine of NT$100,000.
  3. More-Health International Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by changing its sales system without filing with the FTC in advance. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  4. In an advertisement posted on its company website to market the KYMCO Gold Medal 125cc motorcycle, Kwang Yang Motor Co., Ltd. made the claim of "gas tank capacity 8.5L." It was a false and misleading representation with regard to content of product and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$400,000 on the company.
  5. In an advertisement posted on its company website for the KYMCO Gold Medal 125cc motorcycle, Sheng Long (transliteration) Motor Co., Ltd. made the claim of "gas tank capacity 8.5L." It was a false and misleading representation with regard to content of product and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  6. Chunjing Fire Industry Co., Ltd. used the name Health Management Society of Taiwan, which had not yet been legally registered, to promote its products by falsely claiming it was collaborating with related government agencies to improve people’s health. The conduct was a deceptive practice able to affect trading order in violation of Article 25 of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$200,000 on the company.
  7. Sheng Yu (transliteration) International Investment Co., Ltd. posted on 1111.com and ETtoday News Cloud the wording "23-year-old so & so used his over NT$1 million savings to open a "WOOWHO" coffee shop in Neihu with his friends in December last year and had already broken even four months later by generating average monthly sales of NT$400,000~700,000" when recruiting franchisees for the "WOOWHO" coffee shop chain. The claim was a false and misleading representation with regard to content of service and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Paragraph 4 of Article 21 of the Fair Trade Act while Paragraph 1 of the same article was applicable mutatis mutandis. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
