1. Carrefour Taiwan filed a notification regarding its intended merger with Wellcome Taiwan by acquiring 100% of the outstanding shares of the latter. Citing Article 13 (2) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC approved the merger with undertakings attached. 
2. Vie Show Cinemas, Showtime Cinemas, Ambassador Theatres and Shin Kong Cinemas intended to set up a joint venture to produce and release domestic films. Citing Article 13 (1) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC did not prohibit the merger. 
3. The National Credit Card Center of the ROC and its 27 member companies filed an application for approval to extend their joint credit card business operation. Citing the proviso set forth in Article 15 (1) and Article 16 (2) of the Fair Trade Act, the FTC approved the application to allow the concerted action to be extended until Dec. 31, 2025.
