  1. When marketing the Yuan Shan Tsun Fu (transliteration) housing project, Zhang Tai King Construction Co., Ltd. posted an advertisement on its Facebook wall, which stated "a brand-new 400 m2 small luxury apartment near the MRT Jiantan Station" and included a photo showing the ceiling height to be reaching 6 meters in the duplex apartment. The wording and the photo were a false and misleading representation with regard to the content and use of the product, and could also affect potential buyers’ decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$1,000,000 on the company.
  2. Eastern E-Commerce Co., Ltd. engaged in multi-level marketing but did not properly deal with the contract violation of some distributors, thus violating Article 15 (2) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act. In addition to ordering the above-mentioned company to immediately cease the unlawful act, adopt necessary remedial measures, and present the results of its actions within 30 days of receiving the decision, the FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$800,000 on the company.
  3. Pei Da Hsin Corp. improperly used "Marcobelli" as the keyword in Google search. This practice was obviously unfair conduct, could also affect trading order and was in violation of Article 25 of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$500,000 on this company.
  4. Fang Hsuan International Company and Fang Hsuan Industrial Ltd. used a false and misleading representation with regard to the qualifications of distributorship and the content of product or services when introducing people to engage in the multi-level marketing plans created by Eastern E-Commerce Co., thereby violating Article 10 (2) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act. The FTC ordered the two companies to immediately cease their unlawful actions and imposed administrative fines of NT$400,000 on each of them, respectively.
  5. Presicarre Corporation claimed to be the sole agent of Motul gasoline in its supermarkets and online marketplace. This was in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC sent a written warning to inform the company of related regulations.
  6. An individual surnamed Chang used false and misleading wording when describing to people the multi-level marketing system of Greenleaf International (Taiwan) Limited, thereby violating Article 10 (2) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act. The FTC sent a written warning to inform the individual of related regulations contained in the above-mentioned Act.
  7. My Daily Choice, Inc. Taiwan Branch (USA) sold products through multi-level marketing channels without providing related materials or leaflets at their offices, thus violating Article 25 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$80,000 on the company.
  8. Yuan Ding Health Co., Ltd. and RH Dragon Co., Ltd. did not fill out the survey regarding the business operations of the previous year required by the FTC between April 1 and April 30, thus violating Article 26 of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act. The FTC sent a written warning to inform them of their obligations to fill out the survey and abide by related regulations.
