  1. Pengsheng (transliteration) Foods Co., Ltd. and Deyi (transliteration) Livestock and Poultry Co., Ltd. jointly increased the prices of pig blood food products in Nov. 2022. The practice was able to affect the supply-demand function in the pig blood food product market in the northern part of Taiwan. It was in violation of Article 15 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC ordered the two companies to immediately cease the unlawful act and also imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on each of them.
  2. When marketing the "Qlife QL521 18-inch DC energy-saving recessed ceiling fan" on the PChome 24h shopping website, PChome Online Inc. and Qlife International Co., Ltd. claimed in the advertisement that the product had passed the Energy Label certification. It was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product and could also affect transactions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed administrative fines of NT$100,000 and NT$50,000 on the two companies, respectively.
  3. Innotrio Co., Ltd. marketed Drinking water equipment and posted in advertisements the claim "The only one passing 67 SGS tests as complying with national drinking standards." The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$150,000 on the company.
  4. Bokai (transliteration) Integrated Marketing Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, violated 1) Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act by altering the content of the participation contract without filing with the FTC in advance and 2) Article 21 (1) of the same act by failing to process participant withdrawal and returned goods within the statutory 30-day period. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$150,000 on the company.
  5. When marketing the Rich Source Persona KTA-PLUSS 65-inch 4K infrared multi-touch screen on the PChome shopping website, PChome Online Inc. and Creative Source Co., Ltd. posted the claim "Rich Source Precision—the only supplier dedicated to the production and sales of MIT touch screens for over 12 years." The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality and content of product and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed administrative fines of NT$100,000 and NT$50,000 on the two companies, respectively.
  6. When marketing the Axion German aesthetic foldable 12-inch voice-controlled DC fan on the Zeczec crowdfunding platform, Action Electronics Co., Ltd. and Trigger Co., Ltd. posted in an advertisement the claim "Motor made in Japan" and the motor picture also carried the text "Made in Japan." The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to the place of origin of the product and could also affect transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed administrative fines of NT$100,000 and NT$50,000 on the two companies, respectively.
  7. Lai-Li International Co., Ltd. illegitimately used the business symbol "watermagic" of a competitor to make a keyword advertisement. The practice was obviously unfair conduct that involved exploiting the achievements of the efforts of others and could also affect trading order in violation of Article 25 of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company. 8. When Baiyi Construction Co., Ltd. and Xinlianchang Advertising Co., Ltd. marketed the "Baiyi Fuduhui (transliteration) housing project, the names of construction companies they claimed to be the builders of the "Xinhao Yichuan (transliteration)," "Phoenix Garden (translation)" and "Chuanjia Zunjue (transliteration)" housing projects were inconsistent with the facts. It was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed administrative fines of NT$600,000 and NT$300,000 on the two companies, respectively.
