    1. Strict law enforcement to maintain market competition and order
(1) Executing the Fair Trade Act and the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act
The main duties of the FTC are to act according to the Fair Trade Act to investigate and sanction enterprises adopting competition-restraining practices, such as monopolizing, merging and engaging in concerted actions illegally, posting false advertisements and engaging in deceptive or obviously unfair conduct and to investigate and sanction businesses in violation of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act. The FTC makes active efforts to              fair market competition.

Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act. The Commission issued 107 dispositions/warning letters. After deducting the cases with the sanctions revoked, the fines imposed in 2024 amounted to 176,430,000 NT dollars (the same currency applies hereinafter). Among these cases, 63 cases involved false or misleading advertising. The 16 cases involving concerted actions and                involving the violation of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act.
