     7. Promoting competition advocacy to enhance knowledge about competition
To increase public understanding of the FTC’s regulations and strengthen the law- abiding awareness of businesses and people in general, the FTC highly values competition advocacy work. In 2024, the FTC selected important issues related to industries and daily life and held presentations that met the needs of industries while at the same time contacting enterprises to offer customized training courses. The FTC also cooperated with the Judges Academy and held workshops to increase public understanding of the FTC’s law enforcement. Moreover, to extend the reach of promotion work, besides holding advocacy activities, the FTC also publicly promoted its regulations and policies through the Internet, TV and digital media. The important promotion efforts included:
(1) Attending meetings with the Executive Yuan and other central government agencies on the stabilization of commodity prices, development of housing market policies, joint inspection of pre-sale houses, international shipping, revitalization of domestic tourism, automobile transportation rates, insurance market competition, and so on, to offer opinions on issues involving competition to guide other agencies in better understanding and valuing competition concepts and related regulations
(2) Organizing coordination and liaison meetings with local agencies and setting up communication channels with local agencies to upgrade their performance when they helped promote the Commission’s operations
(3) Giving presentations on multi-level marketing regulations regarding the sales of
