  1. Hao Yun Dao (transliteration) Agricultural Products Co., Ltd. organized a furniture exhibition and posted the claims of “the only one organized by the trade union,” “the 2014 Taipei Furniture Exhibition has moved to the Taichung Industrial and Commercial Exhibition Center,” “a joint exhibition participated by one hundred outstanding suppliers,” and “in collaboration with one hundred outstanding suppliers” and also claimed the exhibition venue to be the “Kai Xuan (transliteration) World Trade Center.” The wording was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to content and quality of service in violation of Article 21 (3) in applying mutatis mutandis Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  2. When marketing its memory foam mattresses, Asia-Nanomattress Co., Ltd. claimed the products were “recommended by the sleep center of every major medical institution, physicians and the orthopedic association” and “awarded the three major domestic certificates.” The wording was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to quality of product in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  3. Heaven Only International Co., Ltd., a multi-level marketing business, did not file with the FTC before changing its sales system and products. The conduct was in violation of Article 7 (1) of the Multi-level Marketing Supervision Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  4. When marketing the Spanjarrd engine enhancement molybdenum product and Spanjarrd diesel engine enhancement molybdenum product, Washington (translation) International Development Co., Ltd. and Mr. A claimed in the advertisement that the product was “imported from the UK.” It was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to quality and content of product in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$200,000 on the former and NT$100,000 on the latter. 
  5. In an advertisement for its “Jing Kuo (transliteration)” housing project, BaoShun (transliteration) Construction Co., Ltd. marked a section of the parking area and the balconies as part of the interior space. The practice was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to use and content of product in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  6. Mr. A claimed on his website that his service was available at “every TECO outpost and his shop was a “TECO service station.” The wording was a false, untrue and misleading representation with regard to quality and content of service in violation of Article 21 (3) in applying mutatis mutandis Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$80,000 on Mr. A.
