  1. Mimi (transliteration) Enterprise Co., Ltd. claimed the product had been rated as having "Level-1 energy efficiency" when marketing the Whirlpool WDEE20W dehumidifier on Rakuten. The practice was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product affecting transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on the company.
  2. Clean Station Technology Co., Ltd. claimed the product had been awarded the "Level-1 Energy Label" and as having "Level-1 energy performance" when marketing the Clean Station D91 dual-function energy-saving dehumidifier on its website. The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product affecting transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
  3. Fubon Multimedia Technology Co., Ltd. and KMK Mark International Co., Ltd. claimed the product could "enhance the shape and size of breasts and make them plump and firm." in an advertisement for the "‘Double-enjoyment’ breast-massaging underwear—massager (purple magic)" posted on momoshop.com. The wording was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product affecting transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed administrative fines of NT$100,000 and NT$50,000 on the two companies, respectively.
  4. United Daily News Co., Ltd. and Jing Dong (transliteration) Technology Co., Ltd. posted the wording "National Energy Efficiency certification and rated as having Level-1 energy-saving efficiency" and also a chart showing the classification of Level-1 energy efficiency when marketing the "HITACHI 394L inverter energy-saving 3-door refrigerator RG41A" on shopping.udn.com. It was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product affecting transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$50,000 on each company.
  5. PChome Online Inc. and Zhong Le (transliteration) Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. posted the wording "energy performance of Level-1," "Level-1 energy performance," "Level-1 energy efficiency" and "the energy efficiency of this product rated the first level" when marketing the "SAMPO AD-BD121FT air-cleaning dehumidifier" online. It was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product affecting transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed administrative fines of NT$100,000 and NT$50,000 on the two companies, respectively.
  6. Panasonic Taiwan Co., Ltd. posted the wording "energy efficiency Level 1" and also a chart showing the classification of "Level-1 energy efficiency" on the webpage for 22 refrigerators of the "NR-D508NHV ECONAVI+nanoe dual-technology series." It was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product affecting transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$300,000 on the company.
  7. Medole Co., Ltd. posted the wording "the energy efficiency of this product rated Level 2," "Level-2 energy efficiency," "the energy efficiency of this product rated Level 1" and "Level-1 energy efficiency" on its company website when marketing the Medole "MD-35LB" and "MD-62LB" dehumidifiers with hung-up air pipes. It was a false and misleading representation with regard to quality of product affecting transaction decisions in violation of Article 21 (1) of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC imposed an administrative fine of NT$100,000 on the company.
