With the rapid development of e-commerce, the purchasing of keyword advertisements by enterprises on search engine websites or using web page programs to improve search ranking has resulted in unfair competition and the condition has gradually deteriorated. In order to prevent enterprises from adopting improper means to use keyword advertisements or web page programs to exploit the fruits of the work of others, in Dec. 2024 the FTC established legal effects, and complementary regulations for enterprises to follow in order not to break the law.
