The Competition Policy Information and Research Center of the Commission has a complete collection of books, journals and documents related to competition policy and competition law. As the center for professional information on the Fair Trade Act, it promotes various academic activities and is open to public access to ensure the sharing of public service and training service, etc.

8. Promoting Research and Development in the realm of fair trade
The APEC Competition Policy and Law Database is one representative database in the realm of competition law. The database was established to promote the sharing and exchange of competition policy and competition law information between member economies. Since Taiwan is in charge of the database, the FTC was given the responsibility to set up and maintain the database to provide remote services for various sectors around the world.
