The 31st Competition Policy and Fair Trade Act Seminar
On Dec. 10, 2024, the FTC held the 31st Competition Policy and Fair Trade Act Seminar in Hall 301 of the NTUH International Convention Center. About 200 guests from government agencies, universities and research institutions, law firms and industries attended. The seminar was organized for the attendees to discuss three major issues, namely, Fair Trade Act practices, competition law and digital market control, and competition law and consumer protection in the digital market. Three papers were published and they were substantial achievements in relation to the Fair Trade Act and competition policy research in the country.
(5) Academic research
The Commission carries out various research programs on a regular basis each year,
           
and specialists, in the hope that in-depth analyses of competition theories and practices can be completed through research and development to work out suggestions for the promotion and improvement of the Commission’s operations to enhance the effects of law enforcement. Three commissioned research project reports were completed in 2024.
