1. Falsely claiming taking 3 minutes to walk to the MRT station
The FTC received complaints about Guanjie Construction and Development Co., Ltd. and Jingrui Advertising Co., Ltd. falsely claiming “In the future, taking 3 minutes to walk to the                                                housing complex. Transportation would be convenient.
The FTC conducted an investigation and found out that the Purple Line was still in the planning process. The station locations were only indicated with codes and it was annotated that the route lengths and locations were in the initial planning stage and feasibility would               applied to indicate the routes. In other words, the MRT Bureau had not yet designated the station locations. Apparently, the claim in the advertisement was inconsistent with the Bureau’s announcement. It was in violation of Paragraph 1, Article 21 of the Fair Trade Act. The FTC
