9. Expanding international exchange and cooperation
To ensure that the competition law in the country can comply with international standards and offer the FTC’s law enforcement experience as feedback to the international community, the FTC takes part in international competition law exchange activities and, after continuous efforts, has become an active participant in meetings of important international organizations, such as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), thereby enabling the world to see Taiwan. The important meetings attended in 2024 were as follows
(1) Important international meetings attended
FTC representatives attended important international competition law meetings organized by ICN, OECD and APEC and were invited to be the hosts or speakers or deliver written reports and give presentations to share their law enforcement experiences. Former Chairperson Lee Mei led a delegation to attend the 23rd ICN Annual Meeting in May 2024 and served as a speaker in every meeting session. In July the same year, she also attended the 18th East Asia Top
